The road ahead for Katie and her mom are almost unimaginable. No one knows what the future will bring, but one thing is certain, full time 24/7 care and incredible financial burden.
If and when Katie awakes is in God's hands, but in the meantime Lynns life has been completely altered. There will be no time for anything including her business. Although Katie was insured, the cost to this family is staggering. They are going to need help. A lot of help. This event was a great start.
Katies mom has begun taking classes and their home is being remodeled for when Katie may come home. I have heard some of it and it's mind boggling. Over the last weeks the doctors are hoping Lynn is mentally prepared for what lies ahead.
Why the Blindhorse? Because they stepped up. I hope others will too. We need you for the long haul ahead.
If Katie could help someone, she ran to do it, people and animals. She is love.
God is in control of Katies outcome, which has much to do with her care. I pray that he is speaking to you.
